Graduate Student Essay PrizeAt the biennial conference, the EPSA awards a €500 prize for the best paper presented by a graduate student. The purpose of the EPSA in making this award is to highlight the quality and variety of philosophical work carried out by our student members and to encourage junior scholars to pursue a research career in philosophy of science. The winner of the Graduate Student Essay Prize is announced at the General Assembly, and the prize-winning paper is automatically considered for publication in the European Journal for Philosophy of Science. EPSA21By decision of the Steering Committee, the Graduate Student Essay Prize for the EPSA21 conference is awarded to Kristian González Barman (University of Ghent) for his paper "Explanatory Holes? Testing the Limits of the Mechanistic Framework". We wish Kristian all the best for the publication of his paper and his future career!
